PROPOSALS TABLED [please contact Bob Darling (x2923 or [email protected])]

 New courses:

PWR 201 Writing and Performing: Page to Stage

1) page 1 of the proposal has the repeatability and course restriction statements mixed together.

2) prerequisites need to be listed in catalog description.

3) if students are allowed to repeat the course for three credits, then the second to last line of the catalog description must include the statement: May be repeatable for up to 3 credits.

4) the end of the catalog description needs (1 cr. hr).

5) catalog description on syllabus must be identical to that on p.1 of the proposal (they are both different).

6) syllabus needs an academic integrity statement.

7) it is unclear how often students meet and is therefore difficult to evaluate whether one credit is justified (perhaps 2 credits are more appropriate).

8) question 10 is answered yes Please include a program alteration proposal.

9) the committee feels there is overlap with THT 330. Can you please include a comment from the chair of the Performing Arts department?

10) in the syllabus, the first line under Saturday, September 11 states BreakfastBmandatory.
